apche2 + php + mysql in windows98
Is it possible to get PHP with mysql suport working without any problems in apache2? If so, could someone direct me to a site on how to configure this setup, or explain it to me? I want this to work with windows98. My linux side of my system crashed hard, and I don't really feel like recovering it anytime soon, its going to be a long process. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jason Bush |

RE: apche2 + php + mysql in windows98
Yes, I understand it can be done, at least I don't see why it can't. What I don't understand is how to install PHP with MySQL support. When installing PHP in linux, I have to use the --with-mysql during the configuration before I compile it. This tells PHP where mysql is and that I want it to be compiled with MySQL support.
Do I need to get the source code for Windows and do something of the same sort, or what? I'm lost on how to get MySQL working with PHP 4. Thanks, Jason Bush |
