Can't make it go...

Simple enough program, php Calendar but can't make it work. Don't know much about mysql except what my developers has shown me. The calendar folder is under "public_html" I know db name, user, password, but it still says, access denied. What am I missing?

Any suggestions?

This may sound obvious and you may have already - but have you checked the permissions/ownerships of the file/s to ensure that you have suffecient rights to access them. Otherwise if you can put more infomation on how you are trying and maybe an example this my help.
