Compiling --with-ldap
Hi,
Having throuble compiling PHP with ldap support. Each time i try to configure the installation an error message is returned that it can't find ldap.h. I've looked for this file but can't find it, I'm running redhat7.2 and LDAP seems to have been installed? So what am I doing wrong? Do I need to specify a directory, if so which one? Many thanks in advance for your help this has stumped me for hours. Mark |

RE: Compiling --with-ldap
You say that ldap seems to be installed. I would go to http://www.openldap.org/ and download the latest stable release and install that and make sure it is installed.
If you are sure it is installed, you might want to specify a directory with the configure option.. --with-ldap=/base/ldap/dir/ |
