File opening up as code

File opening up as code

HI there

I have recently installed PHP onto my system When I go to open the browser top browse to the file I enter

c://localhost/test.cfm

Instead of opening up a page it goes to download the file.

Why would this be so and how can I correct the fault.

cfm is a cold fusion page not php. you would have to look at it's source code to find out why.
