gd 'breaking' php
Hi, I have a problem that I really need help with. I've recently tried to install the gd libraries onto a linux machine where php was already installed. When attempting to restart Apache however, I get the following error:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/libphp4.so into 4.so: undefined symbol: gdImageCreateFromGif I cannot (am not allowed to because it apparantly will break the machine) reinstall the php installation or do anything to it. Is there anyway I can either fix the problem by installing different libraries, or can someone tell me how to un-do what I have already done. Thanks a lot, Alison |
