help uploading my website

I have created a website with PHP, MySQL, and cascading stylesheets. I've uploaded it ot my host and I can see the html pages, but the GD library is not available from my host. Can I upload it as part of my files and point to it from the script.

Really that's the only issue I can identify. But I'm seeing other issues as well. Evidently I'm doing something wrong. I spent 4 months coding a great site and now I'm frustrated. The hosting company is www.hostsave.com.

I'm sure this isn't the first time someone has uploaded a site like this. I emailed them 2 days ago and have received no response. Should I change sites? What's the issue? I know the code is good, and I've done everything I know to do to make sure it should work correctly on the host server.

No, you can't just upload the GD library. It needs to be enabled at compile time for PHP.

Regarding your hosting company, yes I would recommend leaving them. No response for 2 days on a support mail is unacceptable.
