installation help PLEASEEEEE

I know nothing at all about PHP so keeping that in mind I am using a free script (the people I got it from gets 10% of my traffic which is why it is free. The code is written in the script) and found a hosting company that uses Linux server, supports, MYSQL, PHP and uses my php admin. The installation instructions are these:
Installation:

1. Download the archive.
2. Upload the files from the archive
to your server.
Upload all the files in BINARY mode only.
3. Create a tmpl_c folder and set
777 permissions for it.
4. Run the install.php script and
follow the instructions.

I completed numbers 1-3. and cannot run the install script. My website tells me to delete the install PHP script for security purpose. Should I have put the files in the tmpl_c folder I created? Would I need to create a table? and if so, How? I'm at a loss Will someone walk me through the process step-by-step and be as basic as possible? I will be very grateful. Thanks

Sounds like you need to get ahold of the people at the site that gave you the script. Personally - I would listen to my hosting company if they tell me to get rid of the script because of security problems. But that is me.
