kind of a blog (a lack of) problem. :-(

hi Codewalkers! :-)

i have been creating sites using CSS, now i have found your amazing site with the best tutorials ever!
since i want to learn php(that's where your tutorials come in), well it's still too early to talk about that, for now i'll settle with just using templates or free scripts, and the problem is i have never did something with php, well one mail form but that's it (also a free script, but i got it to work!) :-).

now i am in need of a weblog, i have downloaded many, but they all are too confusing and have all these options i don't want!

what i want is this:

i (will)have a website (current temp location for you to view it is at http://dhost.info/d2serbia/MMMMMMM/ , the real addy will be www.semperfi-1982.com), and you can see a link 'Rant', that is what i wanted to put the blog in (i think it is too complicated for the latest articles to be displayed in the index.html page, i dunno how that would go),
posting:
so i just want to have like a log-in page for me to write the article and to post it. how does this work with categories? how do i 'select' where will my article file under?
comments:
then people can post comments which will be displayed under the article itself, full comments, no 'read the whole thing' kind, while the articles would be like - the first paragraf and then read the whole thing.
categories:
there is a list of categories i would like to have on the site i gave you a link to. there will the articles be stored.

that's it, no administration, no controll panels, deleting posts or comments, just plain and simple, and i can't find that script! :-(

since i have no one else to ask, you are my only hope :-)
any help will be sincerely apperciated, thanx in front,

Dragan Babic.
