LTW help needed
having a few problems installing this. I tried initially to set it up on my own domain- but problems with database. So I installed it on Lycos. The installation appears to have gone ok, with the install php creating the two tables and any user that I set up. However, when logged in to the calender screen there is no edit function jus another log in. What have I missed out?
http://members.lycos.co.uk/wbl98/calendar.php use demo and demo12 if you need to see what I mean. Thanks in advance |

RE: LTW help needed
PHP 4.1 according to their help page.
The limitations of the service are also outlined on their FAQ page: For security reasons, some applications have been inactivated or limited on the PHP4U service. So: File upload via a PHP script is not allowed. The fsockopen() function has been inactivated. Direct connections are therefore not allowed. The POSIX functions for a Unix system have been inactivated for security reasons. Persistent connections to your MySQL database are not allowed. A connection to your database is automatically opened at the start of each of your scripts. You can directly make the requests of your choice. The connection is automatically closed at the end of each of your scripts. To ensure consistent service for members, the memory allotted for a script is limited to 8 MB. If the memory required for executing your script exceeds this size, an error message will be displayed during execution. The Trans-Sid option is activated. The string defining the current session is automatically sent to all your scripts. For more information on using sessions on Tripod , see the sesions section of this help document. PHP secure mode is activated on the Tripod servers. This means that only you can access your files or your database. Thanks again for any potential help |
