mail function
I need help sending data collected from my form into an email address. My mail function does not work. Please can anyone help me fix this problem. Iam new to php. i know i have to configure my php.ini file but i just dont know how to.My email add is myname@yahoo.com. What will i need to speify as my stmp server and what directories to i need to include. Pls bear in mind that iam new. Thanks

RE: mail function
if the basic mail() call will not work - you should check out the various PEAR Mail classes. I have used Mail_Mime and found it very easy to use and set up to work with a SMTP server of my choice.
And does your mail() not work on your production computer - I am assuming you have checked that out.
