Mandrake Linux & MySQL/Apache

I've tried all the manuals...all they do is cofuse me. So I came here.

Could someone give me a basic explaination on how I can get Apache working just so I can view my PHP files? I REALLY want to get working with PHP, but every time I try to figure it out I confuse myself more.

I'm on Mandrake Linux 8.2 and I installed MySQL, Apache and PHP with the CD's. I'm no Linux expert either, but I don't think that'll matter.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Define what you mean by view files
