PHP 4.2.1 to 4.3.1
Hello,
I want to upgrade from PHP 4.2.1 to 4.3.1, I couldn't really find any good documentation. So, does any know what steps I should take. And how will this upgrade affect existing code and .ini files and such. Your help is much appreciated. I am using a Windows machine with MSSQL Server - if this is of any help. Thanks, Bubba |

RE: PHP 4.2.1 to 4.3.1
It's quite simple, just rename your old php dir to php_old and copy the new zipfile into the php dir, then you dont have to change anything other that copying the php4ts.dll into your windows directory. But I would recommend using the php.ini recommended that comes with php 4.3.x but it changes quite alot of things which might not be compatible with your code.
Hope it helps! |
