php, apache, mysql w/out internet connection

I have been working with this combination for a couple of months now developing my website. In doing so i am always connected to the web, however now i may need to work away for a few months and would like to take my site with me on my laptop. Is it possible to work with php, mysql and apache without having to be connected to the net. If so how can i acheive this -

many thanks
marq

the easiest way is foxserv. it's a bundled AMP package for windows or linux.

Bottom line it's free, it installs Apache, MySQL, and PHP all in one shot.

yes, foxserv will allow you to run a webserver on your machine locally

you have to have a webserver running to have it process php, no idea why you need to be on the net something is wrong with your config.

go to google and look for foxserv

im guessing you are using windows. it should work on any web server with php and mysql installed, just to go the address of localhost in internet explorer.
