PHP for 100% Newbie

Hello, I'm trying to create forums using PHP and MySQL but i have no idea on where to start. Are there any free resouces that i can take advantage of. I am 100% completely new to this and need to start from scratch. Please help

well it doens't have to be free, i just need an idea on where to start please. what are some of te the best and yet easiest books to learn from.

You could just look at the source codes to some php forums. Of course, that usually gives me a headache, but, it's probably the free-est way around.
