php: I may have blown it up!
Once upon a time I had php installed on the webserver here in the office.......at some point of my aging process I forgot this......
So now I started to install php on the server last night only to realize that I had in my infinite wisdom screwed the pooch..... I am attempting to work out all the bugs.......but is there a php guru out there that can answer some questions "just in case"......... 1. can I just delete the old php folder, and rename the new one? 2. deleting dlls and replacing them is ok is it not? 3. if all else fails removing php from the add remove console and resinstalling it is a viable option? This is just a simple Blade server, operating on a T1, from the comfort of my office off of Windows Advanced Server 2k So any php afficianados who can help me salvage the disaster that php has become on this server would be appreciated. |

RE: php: I may have blown it up!
I say uninstall all the PHP - check your directories to see if there are any lingering components - then try a clean install.

RE: php: I may have blown it up!
Do I need to do anything special to remove the php otehr than removing the php folder, and removing the files added to the system folders?
