PHP on AIX?

My workplace is currently running internet forms using Soupermail on AIX 4.3.3 and AIX 5.1. Since Soupermail has not been updated since 2001, we would like to switch to PHP.

I have been told there were issues with PHP on AIX in the past. Is this true? Are there currently any issues? Does anyone here run PHP on AIX? If you do, can you share some hints/tips for configuration? Thanks
