PHP testing requirements.
Hi Codewalkers
I am an absolute beginner to PHP but have good grasp of HTML.
Please tell me the requirements to write and test PHP on my PC.
I use notepad to write HTML

you may either download each of the lamp
like apache, php, mysql from it's original site, or you can download one full package contains all of the above.
some of the available software packages are:
wamp, xampp, php2triad, etc...

forexample, you can download xampp at this site depending on your platform:

I'm sure I'll have more questions to come with PHP, will close this thread now though.
