phpinfo.php file now shows up blank in Win xp pro using IIS server
Hi folks, I was wondering if you could help. I installed IIS on Win XP pro and I was able to make and view php files, including viewing the phpinfo.php file. Now, suddenly for no apparent reason, it comes up blank when I try to load them locally in IE6. Furthermore, Im unable to view any php code in IE.
Has anyone else had this problem and can tell me how to get my php files to view again? Help appreciated, Doug

Restart the server. Better yet, remove it altogether and install apache. It is quite likely that you have already been attacked by a worm. Do not use IIS! Check to see if you have the Indexing Service enabled, in which case I am sure that a worm is responsible, probably "Code Red".

do normal html or asp files work? when you say view any php code in IE do you mean view the source code?
