This may be a silly question

Im new to PHP and am not sure im grasping the concept of it. Can I test my embedded PHP code without being online?

yes you can by downloading and installing a server(i.e.apache) then downloading and installing php and from there its pretty simple

Hi

Thanks for that info. I downloaded apache 1.3.27 and PHPbb2.0.3. Is that correct? When i unzipped them there is no setup. What do I do with them?

there should be a setup file for apache otherwise check if you have a httpd.conf if you don't you need to do the setup
i dont know what that phpbb thing was... but you can get php here
