Uninstall php5/php5 webhost

I'd really like to uninstall php5 and then install php4 on my Apple Powerbook G4. However, I cannot figure out how to do this for the life of me. I've searched the web and found some suggestions for manual removal, but all the files they mention to remove I cannot even find on my computer!!!

I want to do this because I haven't been successful in finding a cheap webhost with php5 running with safe mode off. Among the other specifications I'm looking for in a webhost. So, I want my computer to have the same version as my webhost for testing reasons. Smart choice obviously.

If anyone can tell or lead me to somewhere I can find out how to uninstall php5 on my computer, I would really appreciate it.

On another note, if anyone knows of a good webhost that offers a lot of space, bandwidth, support, programs, php5, mysql DBs and also isn't super expensive I would love to know about them. If they have a referal program and you have an account, I'd be happy to say you refered me!

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

RE: Uninstall php5/php5 webhost

Start->Control panel->Add/remove programs

And if it isn't there then you never installed it correctly.

Cant you just delete the php5 files and then remove the various lines about php5 from the apache conf or whatever web-server software you are using?
