upgrade php
how can i ugrade php 4.4.2 to 5.1.0 (with keep on their old setings).on 2k3 server, Aswellas phpmyadmin to newer version.

I would assume (don't take this as gospel) you save your old php.ini and install the new version with the old php.ini. As for the phpMyAdmin - I say go look at their docs for how to upgrade it.
