Upgrading GD

Hello All,

Does anybody know if it is possible to upgrade the GD library of PHP.
I am running PHP4.4.7 on IIS with GD2.0.28 and would like to install GD2.0.34.

I have noticed a new version of PHP4 is coming out - still waiting for the binaries though-, and MAYBE the latest version of GD will be included.

Anyway, it still would be very interesting to know how to update GD whenever a new version comes out. I had a look at the boutell web site and there does not seem to be anything as far as I can see.
