XAMPP: something is wrong with installation? (PHP)
I am quite new to PHP, and very new to Apache/XAMPP. I am using Vista (64)...(i have the likes of visual studio installed, and something of IIS too, just incase it makes a difference?!). I followed the xampp wizard thought the installation.
The standard "file:///C:/xampp/htdocs/index.html" works fine.
However, "file:///C:/xampp/htdocs/index.php" says "Something is wrong with the XAMPP installation :-( ".
I have seen several posts with this problem, but none seem to have a clear/consistant answer. I guess it may be one of those errors that is caused by many things (which leaves me thinking 'why won't anything just work!!')
Thanks in advance for any help...
