XP Pro - IIS 4.0 - MySQL 3.23.49 - PHP 4.1.1

Hi members!

I have installed IIS and MySQL, which are both working fine. I installed PHP lastly but when I try to view .php files all I get is the php code in Internet Explorer 6.

What steps do I need to setup all the variables for IIS, MySQL and PHP? I thought this was all done automatically via my selections during the installation of PHP.

BTW, I get the same results with Apache.

RE: XP Pro - IIS 4.0 - MySQL 3.23.49 - PHP 4.1.1

If mysql and IIS work fine you do not have to do anything with them.

From whath you wrote it seems that php.exe or php4isapi.dll association to run php scripts is not set at all in your Web Server configuration file.

Have you set it?

If not, please read the Install.txt file from win32.Zip distribution and follow the instruction at chapters:

'Installing PHP on Windows with IIS/PWS'

for IIS setting

or

'Installing PHP for Apache as module' and 'Installing PHP for Apache as CGI binary'

for the Apache ones.
