Beginner Webmaster Advice

i'm curious, if someone who wanted to get into building a website, where exactly would be the best place for them to start.

For example, its obvious that there are different progamming languages you can use, But if you had to put them into like a rank of what to learn first, what would be the first language you would recommend, and the second and so on.

RE: Beginner Webmaster Advice

well, good question. most people would agree that you should start with: html then i would say go to javascript. if you are used to visual basic code then i would say go to asp next or if not try php. as you may know asp and php are scripting languages hence once you reach here you can go to anyone afterwards.
