Addon Domain is Owned

Hey All,

I have bought a domain name, and I have tried to use the Addon Feature with CPanel, but i keep getting this error:

Addon Domain Additions

Bind reloading on server23 using rndc zone: [domainname.com] Bind reloading on ns1 using rndc zone: [domainname.com] Bind reloading on ns2 using rndc zone: [domainname.com] The subdomain, domainname.domainname.com has been added.

domainname.ca is owned by another user.

Removed Entry from httpd.conf The subdomain, domainname.domainname.com has been removed.

domainname could not be setup. The subdomain domainname/public_html/domainname.com was not setup either.

The DNS has resolved, so im not sure why this is happening. I have 3 Addon Domains that I can use.. So far I have used two, so one is still available with my account... Anyone know what is wrong here? Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated... also, if you go to the website that im trying to add, www.esoxseeker.ca it shows a cpanel page saying that the website is not configured... im not sure where its comming form though... Cause its not on my hosting account, but its listed within my registrar...

Thanks All...

Dawn

RE: Addon Domain is Owned

Please do not post multiple threads. People can see it here but obviously no one knows how to deal with your problem.

Is this a shared environment that your trying to do this on? If it is i would suggest trying to contact your provider as they might have a DNS zone for the domain that your trying to add.
