Apache Monitor???

what is it for anyhow, starting and stopping apache???

but anyhow, this is like the 3rd time ive installe apache, and i have a problem this time,, when i use apache monitor i get
PHPGeektil instead of apache....

from a previous version i was running with an install program, think was phpdev423.exe installer, to install php, apache, and mysql, but this time i installed apache 2.0, php 4.3.0 and mysql mysql-3.23.53-win.zip...

now it has multiple apache services in the apache monitor that i want to take out, and just make it apache...
