Default Folder Permissions

I've just tried to display an image with a standard IMG tag, but i get the following error message:

You don't have permission to access /images/user_img/Thumbs.db on this server.

i can't 'access' anything below the images folder... Images i CAN access and everything in it, but anything below i get this error message..

ANy ideas?

RE: Default Folder Permissions

Chmod is your friend. Either use the chmod command in SSH or FTP, or the chmod() function in PHP to change the permission. 755 should be enough for the pictures, I think.
