HELP!!!

How do you end the process of a file running by windows? When I go to the process screen and click end process it says running in windows, how do I change that? Is there a program? THANKS!!!

I hope I am not stating the obvious. First, what version of Windows are you running? If it's XP you can hit CTL-ALT_DELETE to get the Windows Task Manager which will allow you to kill applications and processes. It may take several attempts. Note that killing processes can cause some strange side effects. You may have to reboot. Perhaps what you would like to do is to prevent the process from running in the first place. Use the control panel to add/remove windows applications and system components. Its better yet if the application has an Uninstall. Hope this helps and I'll try to check back later.
