how to create alias in apache?
hi all,
i am not sure if i should post this here but here goes anyway. u see, i don't know how to create a subdomain(i know that we can't control it unless we open up the server and create it there). now u see, i want to create something like mivec.mydomain.com. how do i craete this? and how do i make it where the user can name his/her domain by their own preferences? i was told about alias but i hvnt got a clue about whats taht. can some one tell me how to do this??it's urgent.thank you.thank you |

To do what you want to do, you need to create virtual domains for each in the httpd.conf file. You are better off doing a
www.yourdomain.com/user |
