Windows - How to setup release site?
Hi
we want to upload our release site in the same machine in which we have development site... can you help me to set up the release site without disturbing the development site and its databse? please help me!

just make a new database using the same structure under a different name. copy the development files into a new directory. change the new copies to point to the new database name. setup your initial data required (like admin user...etc). and that should be it. If you want, you could have the public site in the root directory and the developement site in a sub folder so http://yoursite/ is the main site and http://yoursite/developer is the developer site. Just password protect the developer folder so no one can access it without the password.
