Installing the PHP binary
Ok, so I've got a colocated box in another city (see http://codewalkers.com/forum/index.php?action=displaythread&forum=general_admin&id=253&realm=default) that hasn't got the php binary installed.
It's live and some of the stuff on it is pretty important. Downtime is not desirable. Is there any nice way I can get the binary on it? Sarah |

RE: Installing the PHP binary
yeah, I would just recompile PHP and load the one you compile as a dynamic shared object. Aftet that,. its a matter of switching two or three directives in the conf file and bouncing the http daemon. You *might* even be able to get away with a kill -HUP so the app doesnt actually go down.
