Load Balancing/Fault Tolerance
I was hoping to start a large discussion regarding different ways of Load Balancing and Fault Tolerance MySQL servers, PHP enabled Web Servers. Which ways are better, which are easiest and why you think so. I'd like to include all platforms/OSes in this discussion, but please name the hardware/software so it can be recognized easily.
The reason for this discussion is so when people need to actually takle these types of tasks- they are aware of all of the different possibilities out there and the pros/cons of all.
