Low-Spec Linux
Hiya,
I have an old 486 PC (shudder!). I was thinking it may make a good mess around Linux box. Just running Apache, PHP & MySQL. Is there a very cut down linux dist. that anyone could reccomend? (or is this a crazzzzzzy idea?) Craig

Oh that's good idea if that server is in your own use or somethink like that. Some good dist is small linux or legendary red hat(only kernel not graphics interfage).
I'm sory about my bad english but i'm finnish

i have a 200mhz pc with 96mb ram and 3gb harddisk and it works fine for linux graphical mode. If anything a 486 should be better.
