Server to slow
Server to slow
Hello, great forum I have been a lurker here for a wile I have a couple questions about server performance, I am trying to figure out if the slow navigation of my php/ MySQL website is the server it’s hosted on or just the poor quality of the page it self? The server it self is just a Celeron 300 with 256 Meg of ram co located in Europe. Most of my customer’s are US based but the co-location price was to good to pass up, do you think the poor performance of my webpage is the server or it’s location or both? vonage |

RE: Server to slow
It seems to work fine from Holland.
loading the index page takes 1.2 seconds avarage (using wget under linux) Browsing seems to go smooth So my bet would be that this provider just has a bad connection to the states |

RE: Server to slow
Thanks,
that would be great, we are trying to work with our UK provider to upgrade the hardware or we are going to be forced to get a US co location |
