DNS - Single Website Multiple Servers
I have recently noticed on a couple of websites that when i access them i see at the bottom "you are connected to ww2.****.com" or
ww4.****.com" etc. Is it possible to host the same site on multiple servers? If so how is this done and what are the benefits?

This is done to either balance the gross load at one location or to distribute the load geographically.
