SSH into server
I recently picked up my project of my half finished webserver. I've got it up and running and I can visit pages on it, but I'm having a hard timd SSHing into it. I've tried useing the url associated with it and the IP address with the username being the user that has the public_html folder I want to look at. Is there something I need to do to the server to allow SSH into it?

RE: SSH into server
Yes, I checked my setup and sshd is set to start on boot. Do I need to make a hole in the firewall at a certain port?

RE: SSH into server
Ok.... how would make that hole (I'm new to useing Linux and my server is a Redhat 9 machine)
edit: Never mind I found it. I did it though the "setup" command and then "firewall configuration" Thanks for your help guys |
