Uploading database files to phpMyAdmin

I am trying to upload a mysql table which i have saved as a .sql file. Its size is around 3.5mb. I am using phpmyadmin v. 2.2.6 on my host's control panel ie the control panel for my company's site.

I go through the motions correctly but nothing is happening. that is, browse to find the file, click on go.

Can someone please suggest what I may not be doing correctly? I've uploaded smaller tables without any problems.

are you uploading data, structure or both? It appears as if you are uploading data from the size but if it is both missing ` marks on the structure can cause phpMyAdmin to fail.

Thanks for that help. It sort of worked. The table did arrive when i checked both boxes, BUT it only uploaded the primary key - all the other fields were null and only uploaded around 1200 of the 28,000 records. This table is fine on my local machine.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong creating the .sql file. I used phpmyadmin - export.
