view directory listing
is there a way for a visitor to tweak or by using a 3rd party script to access the listing of a certain URL?
let's say i have http://list.listeddomain.com and if a visitor access it, 403 is displayed. can they play around it and display the folders or files that are inside that URL by using a script? in that way, they will know what page to visit. is there a way also to bypass 403 error and be able to view the page you want? |

RE: view directory listing
Are you asking how to break into a machine? You do realize that is illegal, immoral, and incredably unethical.
If however you are trying to learn how to protect your server - You can check out notepad's security tutorial as well as google. |
