cannot access codewalkers.com from behind a firewall

hi, i was given a link to one of the projects hosted on your site (http://calendar.codewalkers.com). however, i could never access it with my mozilla web browser. just said site was offline, etc.

with a little testing i figured out that your site pings me back on tcp ports 40848, 40849, etc., whenever i want to access a page on your site.

since my (linux) workstation is firewalled (by myself), this is (at least part of) what was causing the problem.

thus, to access your site with a simple web browser, i have to open my firewall to your address (69.55.226.157).

however, i don't have this problem (to my knowledge) accessing ANY other site..

1) why is this done with codewalkers?

2) and what exactly is it sending?

(also, by the way, when i try to register an account here -- instead of posting anonymously) it says there were errors in my registration but it does not specify what and then it returns to a list of the forums.. how frustrating..)

I have no idea what it could be. It certainly shouldn't be anything coming from my server. I access that page and all pages on the server from behind a firewall at home and at work. I just sat here and watched my incoming firewall logs while I accessed calendar.codewalkers.com and it didn't show anything of the sort.

What IP does it show those connections coming from?

I wish I knew something more to tell you, but this is news to me. I've never heard a complaint such as this before....
