Talking Everyone joined on April 20, 2007

After receiving the email of forum changes and program updates, I reset my password and got back into Code Walkers. WOW! I haven't been around for a long time and when I was here I did not do much. I'll have to change that.

Another bug I noticed, and I'm guessing it is a result of the new software, is that myself and others all joined the forum at the time the new software was installed. I have learned a lot about coding and database managements since my last visit. However, I am not sure about the codes used to manage forums. I don't know how to write it, but couldn't a script be written and ran that would change everyone's join date to at least the date of their first post?

It is probably not worth it really, its probably because the old codewalkers forum software did not store the date a user joined. It is possible to do what you say and make a script set everyones join date to the date of their first post but there are something like 10,000 users and it could possibly put excessive load on the site. But I'm not too sure... Just my view on it.

Personally, I like this "feature". My average is only a tad over 150 posts a day, bug lig's is over 1,300 a day!

Oops, never realized that we have post averages now! (too many features overload my brain...)

I like my average , But in all seriousness it would be nice to have this fixed but i do not think that it is a show stopping problem. Might just be one of the casualties of moving forum software, well at least until someone writes a nice script to do the sorting out.
