Expired vs Resolved
The 7 day resolution rule I think is a good idea, but seems to be frustrating for some people. It's also perhaps a mislabel for those who are trying to search the forum for answers.

I propose a 3rd category, Unresolved, Resolved and Expired for those posts older than 7 days.

This way a searcher can determine if a similar problem they've had has really been solved and some people won't get so frustrated.

(i'd even be willing to do new little post status icons... perhaps a little tombstone for expired ones ;))

Just a thought. Ideas?

Yes...he made the icons. (and thanks to him for that!!

I did have to modify the resolved one as he had it as an exclamation point which didn't show 'resolved' to me.

why not showing the ALT attribute for the images?
I know it's easy but it's good to c the word 'resolved' and 'unresolved' when over the images
