post count?

is there any way to see how many posts i have? i finally saw the "my threads" link at the top, but that obviously doesn't tell me unique posts.

just curious how many times i've opened my big mouth, i know i have 187 unique threads though, lol. i kinda like having stats, like when a user joined and how many times they have posted. also, i can't figure out how to view anybody's profile.

i did a search but i only found out there is a top 25 posters page which doesn't seem to exist any more?

From what I understand there was problems with people abusing the system to inflate their post counts and ratings. Because of that Matt closed all that down (from what I understand). It was only soon after I started coming here regularly that Matt even brought back the ratings. I don't know if he will ever bring the other stuff back.

Not that it's anything improtant, but somehow I'd like to know my post count too. The number of stupid posts was a higher when the post counts and ratings started to interest people too much. If I recall correctly, top 25 posters page was taken down at the same time as showing the post counts.

Maybe add a way to view your own statistics, including how many posts you have made in how many unique threads, and how many threads you have started? That way people who want to know their post count will know it, but it can't be used for bragging so there would be no need to make nonsense posts.

yea, it's no big deal, and it's not like i'd start postwhoring if i could find out my own stats. just kinda curious so i can laugh at myself for spending way too much time here

What I can tell now is that you're somewhere between 100 and 500 posts

Responds quickly? You must be thinking about someone else. You'll find many items in this forum that are 'on my list'. My list is long...and keeps getting longer.

Now that the post counts are back, how about adding a new rank you get when you reach 5000 posts?

I didn't realize I had so many. I'm not sure if I should be proud of myself or embarrassed that I talk so dang much.
