"Resolved"
I think this is a truly wonderful site, but I keep running into a problem in the forums.
I find a posting that seems to relate to whatever problem I'm having, but then it shows as "Resolved". It would be really really REALLY nice if the posting would continue to show HOW it was resolved. |

RE: "Resolved"
I think that is a fantastic idea. It helps people searching to know how to solve the problem without having to post again.
Sometimes posts are resolved in error and sometime people resolve them even though they are not really resolved. That problem should be reducing now that some changes have been put into place. Feel free to tell us what posts you would like solutions too and we'll see what we can come up with. |

RE: "Resolved"
Well, up until now, I've just gone looking in other places for my answers. When I'm debugging something, I need answers quickly before I totally forget what I'm doing... this is all very confusing to me.

RE: "Resolved"
If I may interject.....
It is a wonderful idea for people to follow up on their posts. Unfortunately, this rarely happens when someone finds the answer on their own. The reason that you see the posts marked in resolved status is because they have not been posted to in 7 days. They automatically go into a resolved status. As Nicky said, we understand your frustration. If you see something as unresolved in the future, you might want to consider opening a new thread, and referencing the old thread in your post, so that we can help you better and see to it that you get a resolution |
