Tutorial Suggestion

Hi,
I have a little suggestion for the tutorial forum of codewalkers. I think that every tutorial should have its own topic in the forum and no others so if you wanted help on Using sockets tutorial you would find the using sockets topic and post in there or see if your question has been answered. That way the tutorial forum would be smaller and easier to navigate through.
What do you think?

Kendo

RE: Tutorial Suggestion

If you did it that way the threads would get too long.

RE: Tutorial Suggestion

i mean within reason eg after the thread reaches say 2 pages it is pruned so questions could be added to a miniture faq in a post instead of multiple posts with code. Which would solve the problem or you could just split the thread

RE: Tutorial Suggestion

it'd be kind of neat to give each tutorial its own topic, which is invisible to the normal forum.. that way people could post multiple questions.

i like that idea. then you could get rid of the "tutorials" thread all together, and it'd be much more organized.

RE: Tutorial Suggestion

on second thought, nobody would bother visiting them if they weren't easily visible. so nevermind.

RE: Tutorial Suggestion

i was thinking of these tutorial topics be placed in the tutorials forum so only the tutorial topics are in the tutorial forum.

RE: Tutorial Suggestion

well what if somebody has a question about tutorials in general - not related to any of the existing tutorials, or perhaps a tutorial suggestion.

i think in the long run, your approach would just make it more complex to find what you're looking for. it'd look cleaner, but the content would get buried.
