noob - URL cannot be submitted error

I am trying to post a question but keep getting a message that URL's cannot be posted. But I cannot find any URLs in my post. I tried commenting out lines...to no avail. How can I find the offending code?

Also, I cannot find the vB code button that format/highlights PHP code....is that the Language Syntax Highlighter? or what?

Thanks

Can you be more specific? Are you getting an error that prevents you from posting at all or just some text being replaced with the "you can't post urls" message?

As to the PHP formatting tags, use [ php] and [ /php] without the space after [. You can also use the button on the right side of the # button in the toolbar if you are using the advanced message editor.

for php code use <open bracket>php<close bracket> and <open bracket>/php<close bracket>

open bracket = [
close bracket = ]

We have a new hack in place to protect our community from spammers, this hack will block any new users who trying to include urls in their posts.

You can change your code to get around this (replace actual url with some word like URL).
