php4 - How many products can be included in eCommerce website?

I want to create an eCommerce website and the products that are to be added are near about 1000. Please guide me about the number of products that can be added in my website.

With currently available server hardware, a properly indexed database will support having a few million rows per table.

BTW - php4 (the tag you picked in the title) is obsolete. If you are still using, or even worse, learning php4, you are out of date. The last php4 release was in 2008. The minimum php version you should be using is php5.6.
